28- Zac de Croissant

This space is designed for fun in contrast to a concrete urban context this playground stands out with its colour and playful design. The lighting is quirky like something from a child's picture book it's through its furnishings that it reveals its post-modern approach and ignores some of the characteristics associated with classic French design. It gives off Scandinavian vibes with its colours and forms within the structure. The paving appears to take inspiration from Copenhagen's Superkilen park project with the bold black backdrop and strong white lines. Even within the lines of paving, there is much for children to interpret as play- running along the lines, jumping over them turning it into a game. Though there is much opportunity for children to use the space there is equipment for people of all ages from the hanging bars, to table football and table tennis.

The design of the park is a vivid space in such dull surroundings and I think contrasts well. My own biased would be inclined to put more vegetation in the space as it can really elevate a space and positively impact the environment and people's health.
