37- Final Design Amended

Some amendments were made to the final design after reconsidering the brief, I had taken a bit of a turn away from the focus of a circular economy. So I looked at using the rooftop space as a place to grow food for the community. The University Eco-Hub hosts a rooftop garden with a holistic approach to growing food in not so neat planting bed. The rooftop gardens in the Creative Quarter host half of their space growing plants. Both areas with the intention of the food staying on site being sold in shops and used in local cafes and facilities. The shrub vegetation around the site is also specified to have edible plants that people can forage for. The Creative Quarter in the north east side of the site and part of the university rooftop is still designed for rewilding purposes.
