9- Visualisations of St Aidens

St Aidens is a community plot of land owned by the church with prospects to turn it into a community use site. The requirements were a building of 8x10m, following the theme of the seven sacred spaces and to stay within the budget of £100,000. There was a lot of freedom for the site with options to include things such as a food garden, a canopy and a prayer labyrinth. We tried to make a site like a rolling garden with spaces having overlapping uses of the sacred spaces of- cell, cloister, chapter, chapel, garden, scriptorium, and, refectory.
