14- Christian Garden Planting

For our project proposal for St Aiden's Church we've been looking into potential planting. Considering plants, their meanings and how people will interact with them. Considering the seven sacred spaces effected our planting choice too. We wanted to include plants relating to biblical references.

Willow Tree- hope, loss, weeping, reflective

Plants mentioned in Genosis- Almond, grapevine, 

Mentioned in Exodus- Dill, sage, Coriander, blackberry

In terms of materials we thought about mostly using natural materials, wood, rocks and metal to accent the site. 

Rocks- God is strong, constant, permanent

Wood- Natural, sustainable, circle of life

Metal- Strength, unyielding, conduit
