I refocused my concept by dividing the area into zones. Parking does dominate the space to an extent however there are ways to integrate that within the context of the design. The food area is the area where people will be having their food and drinks from the café. The flood area is the area most prone to seasonal flooding, so it's best left as grass and shrubs with little human intervention to allow the water to swell. The skate area will have entertainment for bmxing, scooters and roller skating. Events area is for seasonal events and shows to take place, with the stage framework acting as the stage with the background to the stage the skyline of Gloucester, feeling like an exteention of the city with the ceiling as the sky
