4- Revisting Alney Island
We had another site visit looking Alney Island
View from above the site- predominantly green space with the site divided by the main road and isolated by the river that runs round the site.
The winter sun is very flattering on the site with a very warm feeling despite being barren and the trees being bare.
The path that boarders the site is raised around 1-2 metres from the centre for accessibility when the site floods
Views of the city from the site looking out
Dried grass boarders the river
Utilities structure on site
Trees potentially cut down intentionally or blown down in the recent storms
The site is not maintained to a high standard, or maintained during the Winter months
