11- Alney Island Development- Parking Considerations

I was considering expanding the existing car park and the hydrological considerations to make the site cope with flooding and how it could be more environmentally conscious. Creating opportunities of balance wherever possible. I was thinking about permeable paving so water could feed back into the water table, with the site flooding. Considering pocket raingardens between parking spaces and creating shaded areas to help offset the temperature of the open paving of the car park.

I thought about the layout and how it could look on the site, however it still isn't sitting right with my concept. I'll come back to it later.
