24- Sustainable Technology Plan- Drainage
Considering Drainage for the site meant I had to consider the levels of the Surrey County Council building, being on a slope with sand soil made the drainage considerations fairy easy. Sand makes water penetration easier, so it makes sense to use permeable paving and soil permeation easy. Recycling water onsite to create some sustainability made sense, with the change in levels allowing for discreet collection and easy redistribution of water. Rain gardens next to parking allow water to be moved away from car and structures. And Excess run off to flow into the basin off the map.
